We are looking for an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join our fast-paced, customer-centric Member Journey Team. This team seeks to improve the experience for our customers, who are subscribed to our list of monthly subscription programs: Glam Bag, BoxyCharm, Icon Box, Refreshments and more. As an engineer, you will participate in the entire product development lifecycle, including architecture design, performance evaluation, code reviews, code coverage, automation, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features

Responsibilities

• Code in a full-stack area. React.js, Next.js, TypeScript / JavaScript. 

• SPA architecture + GraphQL + Kotlin experience is a plus.

• Drive the design and implementation of solutions and product features, as well as support the live operation at scale of user-facing critical Web and Mobile flows.

• Test automation, monitoring, and alerting experience is desired.

• Participate in the prioritization process to bring hidden technical needs to the roadmap.
• Translate business requirements into technical ones with very strong communication skills.
• Lead the team to build scalable, easy-to-maintain software to support millions of users and transactions.

Shift: US Day Time (SL Night Time) (5pm - 2am)/ US Calendar

Location: Battaramulla (Hybrid Mode)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in subscription and/or E-commerce companies

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

• Passion for mentoring and coaching the members of your team

• GraphQL development experience

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar capacity with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

• Must be available to start immediately

• Must work on US time and according to US Calendar

• Worked diligently coding in Java/Kotlin and Javascript

• A creative and precise problem solver

• Digital product/UX understanding

• AWS Experience

• Strong Knowledge of Spring or other similar Interversion of control frameworks

• Passionately worked on and driven large scale projects to completion

• Experience working in subscription and/or e-commerce companies

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

• Experience working with Kong API Gateway configuration and LUA scripts

• Experience working with CICD/Jenkins pipeline configuration

• Experience working with Kubernetes
