Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, assembling, and modifying prototypes and finalized products.

  • Operate fabrication equipment such as 3D printers, welding stations, basic power tools, and hand tools.

  • Fabricate electro-mechanical components using engineering drawings and instructions.

  • Set up test rigs and measurement systems to validate prototypes.

  • Conduct tests following defined test plans and safety procedures.

  • Record experimental data for R&D purposes.

  • Troubleshoot test issues and perform diagnostics.

  • Maintain, calibrate and organize lab tools and machinery.

  • Ensure the lab environment is clean, safe and follows standard safety measures.

  • Assist with inventory management of components, tools, and supplies.

  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams to support R&D activities.

  • Communicate technical findings and issues clearly and promptly.

  • Ensuring the quality of the products and the deadlines are met.


Shift: SL day time (9am - 6pm)
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Job Requirements

  • HND or technical diploma in Engineering Technology, Mechanical or related field

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a technical role.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Hands-on experience with power-tools and basic fabrication processes.

  • Attention to detail, quality of work and finishing of the product.

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Communication skills to handle suppliers

  • Passion for craftsmanship & ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
