Your Day-to-Day
-
PLC Installation & Programming Install, wire, and configure Allen
Bradley, Siemens, or Modicon controllers in operational
environments. - System Integration Interface with electrical, mechanical, and network systems; ensure seamless communication across BMS, EPMS, and SCADA layers.
- Instrumentation & Calibration Set up and verify sensors, transmitters, and actuators for temperature, flow, pressure, and vibration systems.
- Panel Wiring & Testing Build, label, and terminate control panels; verify I/O and perform complete loop checks.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Identify and correct logic, wiring, or communication faults in PLC and relay-based systems.
- Preventive Maintenance Inspect, clean, and validate control components during scheduled PMs; ensure compliance and uptime.
- Commissioning Support Participate in FAT, SAT, and IST testing for automation and monitoring systems.
- Safety & Documentation Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA standards; maintain accurate drawings, logs, and service records.
Required Experience & Qualifications

4+ years in industrial, data center, or mission-critical controls
environments. - Hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and I/O configuration.

Strong knowledge of VFDs, MCCs, and control circuits.

Familiar with BMS/EPMS, SCADA, and network protocols (Modbus,
BACnet, Ethernet/IP). -
Proficient in reading schematics, control drawings, and one-lines.

Current NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certifications; proven LOTO
discipline. -
Available for travel, rotating shifts, and rapid deployments.
Preferred Skills
-
Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 / Siemens TIA Portal programming
experience. -
Experience with Building Automation (BAS) or Energy Management
Systems (EMS). -
Low-voltage or fiber-optic installation and terminations.

Commissioning and testing background (FAT / SAT / IST).

Electrical or mechanical trade certification a plus.
