ServiceNow Developer
Join the dynamic team of a leading and global professional services firm as a ServiceNow Developer, where you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet Project and IT service management needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and address ServiceNow requirements.
- Design and implement ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
- Test and troubleshoot technical solutions for ServiceNow implementations.
- Integrate ServiceNow with technologies such as LDAP, SSO, Integration Hub, web services, and email.
- Implement and manage ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mappings.
- Support prototype engagements, design demos, and POC for new ServiceNow features.
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to enhance platform capabilities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide user training for efficient system use.
- Resolve technical issues to ensure smooth ServiceNow operations.
- Manage 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate sprint stories into actionable tasks and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules to align with best practices and organizational processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance performance and user experience.
Key Relationships:
- Project Managers and IT Governance team for requirement alignment and quality assurance.
- IT Change Management to communicate the impact of ServiceNow changes.
- Supplier Manager for efficient communication and relationship management with ServiceNow.
- Technical and Solution Architects for effective technical design delivery.
- Application team peers to discuss changes and their impact on non-ServiceNow workloads.
- IT Service Desk, SDM, and Business Change Management for effective communication with IT and firm-wide users.
- Regular communication with suppliers for updates on new developments and critical vulnerabilities.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of ITIL (v3 foundation level minimum).
- Knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies such as Prince 2 and Agile.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Proactive in staying updated with industry trends.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Motivates and mentors junior developers.
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Experience in process mapping, flow diagram development, and related documentation.
- Confident in negotiating with technical experts and third-party suppliers.
- Understanding of configuration management and licensing models.
