We are seeking an exceptional Scrum Master to guide, coach, and facilitate our clients Scrum teams in adopting agile practices, steer the focus towards customer outcomes and value delivery.
The role.
As Scrum Master, you will serve as a leader, coaching and empowering agile teams, resolving obstacles, orchestrating Scrum events, and contributing to the enhancement of Agile practices within the IT department.
Day to day, your key responsibilities will be to
- Lead Scrum teams in the application of Agile methodology and apply Scrum best practices.
- Identify and remove impediments, coach the Scrum team in addressing them, and help eliminate external and internal blockers through process and workflow enhancements.
- Aid Scrum teams in achieving higher levels of Scrum maturity, effective communication, self-organization, cross-functional skill development, and domain knowledge.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and grooming, providing guidance when necessary.
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, and retrospectives, while overseeing the Scrum board.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to Scrum practices and guidelines within the teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and advancement of Agile practices throughout the organization.
- Enable Scrum teams to attain peak performance by identifying strengths and areas for improvement and applying appropriate guidance, coaching, and development techniques.
- Regularly analyse burn-down charts and other portfolio planning tools to comprehend velocity and delivery metrics.
About you.
We are looking for a Scrum Master with the following qualifications, skills, and experiences.
- A bachelors degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of Scrum Master experience ideally within professional or financial services.
- At least one Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM I, CSM, PSM II, CSP, or CTC).
- Strong agile coaching experience
- A strong embodiment of agile values and principles, with expertise in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Experience in collecting and utilizing data to drive team improvements using various reporting tools.
You will also have
- A strong proficiency in planning and problem-solving in collaboration with product management and delivery teams.
- A confident communication style and be comfortable with delivering both formal and informal training.
- A proactive, energetic approach to identifying and implementing opportunities.
- A strong team mentality and come with excellent communication, networking, relationship-building, and business partnering skills.
- Cultural adaptability with prior experience in a global organization.
- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity.
On top of this it would be an advantage if you had experience with Azure DevOps.
