Location: Hybrid - South Wales (Minimum 1 day per week in office)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

An established public sector organisation is looking for an experienced Lead Digital Workplace Engineer to take technical leadership of its End User Computing (EUC) services. This role will lead the design, delivery and performance of systems including Microsoft 365, Citrix, Active Directory, Intune and modern workplace technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead EUC engineering teams across the organisation.
  • Architect and manage scalable, secure endpoint services.
  • Implement automation and performance monitoring across platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers and transformation teams to align infrastructure with strategic goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring high delivery standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SCCM, Citrix, MECM, Intune and related technologies.
  • Senior-level experience in a technical EUC or infrastructure role.
  • Strong leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience in scripting, automation, and cloud deployment methodologies.
  • Ability to operate in complex enterprise environments and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
