We are looking for a seasoned Technical Systems Analyst to join a leading Digital Challenger in financial services as they embark on a journey of accelerated growth and to work within a team of experienced Business Analysts.
The role.
As part of a dynamic and talented Change team, you will of spearhead a diverse array of projects, each contributing to either the product roadmap or enhancing internal systems and processes.
Your work will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of intricate and interdependent solutions that precisely align with defined metrics and business objectives.
Day to day your key responsibilities will be to
- Gather, comprehend, and document business requirements/user stories for projects.
- Develop and document business processes and data flows.
- Translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, IT architects, and business stakeholders to craft solutions that fulfil project objectives, encompassing scope, success criteria, and benefit realization.
- Ensure seamless traceability of requirements to the solution and alignment with success criteria.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for business systems and ecosystem integrations.
- Prioritize and resolve production incidents and problems, offering third-line support for operational issues.
- Liaise with Project Managers/workstream leads to synchronize requirements and delivery plans.
- Lead the design and documentation of operational procedures.
- Assist in test preparation and execution.
- Support project implementations, including troubleshooting issues during each deployment and associated warranty period.
- Collaborate within the Business Analyst team to exchange best practices, insights, and support.
About you.
We are looking for a Technical Systems Analyst with the following skills and experiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly technical with a passion for detail at systems level with a proficient understanding of JSON and XML object models.
- Solid grasp of SQL.
- Experience working with APIs and optimising integrated systems.
- A detail-oriented mindset, willing to dive deep into solutions and issues alongside Solution Architects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across various organizational levels.
- Robust problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with adept facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, structured, and capable of engaging with Stakeholders in a virtual environment.
- Self-aware, open-minded, and characterized by a high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Ability to cultivate strong professional relationships with business teams.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in their domain of expertise.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a drive to propel the business forward.
It would be great if you also could say yes to:
- Experience within the Insurance sector.
- Familiarity with configuring policy admin systems.
- Exposure to Salesforce.
- Any knowledge of MI, data modelling or reporting (Power BI) would be beneficial
- Previous involvement in large-scale change programs with multiple delivery partners.
- Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with third-party development teams.
- Ability to work directly with developers.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
