Position Overview:

The US Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to the legal team in handling U.S. Personal Injury cases, with a primary focus on legal document drafting, case-related documentation, pre-litigation support, and maintaining accurate and well-organized case files. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with Personal Injury cases, possesses strong English writing and communication skills, and can independently prepare clear, accurate, and professional legal documents. The role will also provide support to Case Managers and attorneys as needed to help ensure timely and efficient case progression.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The US Paralegal shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case-related documentation as assigned.
  • Review and organize case documents to ensure information is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
  • Provide support for pre-litigation activities, including preparation and organization of documents required for case evaluation and progression.
  • Assist attorneys and Case Managers with case-related tasks and documentation as needed.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all records, correspondence, deadlines, and supporting documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Review and organize medical, financial, and other records relevant to Personal Injury cases.
  • Prepare professional written correspondence and other legal communications for clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and other parties, as assigned.
  • Assist with discovery-related documentation, case preparation, and other legal support activities.
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and case management systems to support timely completion of case requirements.
  • Provide administrative and legal support to the team during periods of increased workload.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client and case information.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete information in case files and take appropriate action to address documentation gaps.
  • Perform other legal, case-related, and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of relevant Paralegal or Legal Support experience.
  • MUST have hands-on experience handling U.S. Personal Injury cases.
  • Personal Injury experience is a non-negotiable requirement. Candidates without PI experience will not be considered.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft clear, concise, and professional legal documents and correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and file-management skills.
  • Ability to review and process large volumes of case-related documentation accurately.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and client information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal case-management or document-management systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to U.S. legal processes and client-specific procedures.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting U.S.-based attorneys or law firms.
  • Experience with Personal Injury pre-litigation processes.
  • Familiarity with medical records, medical bills, liens, insurance documentation, and other
  • Personal Injury case materials.
  • Experience with legal correspondence, discovery documentation, and case-file organization.
