[GAS-002] Experienced Construction Operative

Location: St Fergus Area
Working Hours: 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
Rate: £180-£250 per day, dependent on experience

About the Role:
IES Utilities is seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Operative to join our delivery team working on the gas terminal at St Fergus. This role requires a commute to St Fergus on a day-to-day basis and offers a stable, long-term opportunity with ongoing training and upskilling potential. The role involves maintenance, and construction works to support the safe and efficient operation of the terminal.

Key Skills:

IES are seeking individuals who have experience in delivering one or more of the following disciplines:

• Mechanical / Pipe Fitting
• Concrete Placement / Repairs
• Blasting, Painting & Coating including Lagging

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Essential:

• At least 5 years working experience in the UK construction sector
• Familiarity of working in a highly controlled and permit restricted environment
• Full UK driving license
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Desirable:

• Qualifications related to natural gas & plant servicing
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain positive customer relations.
