Job Summary:

The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to the companys vehicle fleet. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of the fleet, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Fleet Manager in various administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update records of all company vehicles, including registrations, insurance, maintenance, and servicing schedules.

Coordinate routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assist with the procurement of new vehicles and disposal of old ones.

Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption to ensure efficient operation and cost management.

Manage vehicle insurance policies, renewals, and claims processes.

Ensure all vehicle documentation is up-to-date and complies with legal requirements.

Assist in the preparation of reports on fleet performance, costs, and compliance.

Handle inquiries and issues related to the fleet from employees and management.

Support the Fleet Manager in developing and implementing fleet policies and procedures.

Liaise with external service providers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.


Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in fleet administration or a similar administrative role.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in using computer systems and software for fleet management.

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management practices is advantageous.

Valid UK driving licence.
