Job Opportunity: Procurement Officer IES Utilities Group Ltd

Location: Procurement Officer, Head Office, Manchester

Working Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday

Rate: Competitive rate per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: PAYE (long-term opportunity)

IES are a fast-growing contractor within the utility sector with a number of major clients across five business divisions. We work on multi-discipline projects within engineering, civils, and construction works across the UK.

This in person role is based at our head office in Levenshulme, Manchester, M19 3BJ.

Roles and responsibilities:

This role involves finding maintaining relationships with suppliers as well as finding and developing new connections with potential suppliers.

Monitoring requests for day-to-day procurement requests for our various departments ranging across; Gas, Water, Electric, Telecoms & Net-Zero.

Keeping track of procurement spreadsheets ensuring theyre kept up to date and legible.

Working with onsite teams in order to meet clients needs.

Engaging with other procurement team members during meetings as well as contributing to group discussions.

Skills & Experience:

Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, as well as be comfortable with contacting teams / clients over the phone & via email.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum two years experience within procurement
