Full Stack Engineer (LatAm) - PHP/Laravel/Vue.js

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help build performant and scalable web applications that power a fast-growing platform in the dental-tech space. You'll collaborate with engineers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to design and deliver robust solutions that improve real users daily workflows.

You'll be working across the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment while directly seeing the impact of your code in production. The role calls for a hands-on builder with strong technical depth, communication skills, and a passion for solving real-world challenges through clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance modern web applications built with PHP / Laravel / Vue.js

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services

• Apply modern UI/UX principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture

• Ensure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are consistent and accessible across applications

• Build complex algorithms for cost optimization, order prediction, and vendor preference

• Manage the entire feature lifecycle from development to post-launch monitoring and support

• Collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and smooth project delivery

• Write and maintain documentation for features, architecture, and processes

• Stay current on the latest web-development tools, frameworks, and practices

Technical Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience with PHP / Laravel (10+)

• 3-5 years of experience with Vue.js

• Strong knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID design, and REST API architecture

• Skilled in SQL schema design, PostgreSQL profiling, and query optimization

• Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) and TDD workflows

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud and basic DevOps concepts is a plus

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
