Lead QA Automation Engineer – AI Agentic Systems

We are looking for a highly technical and forward-thinking Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive the transformation from manual testing to scalable automation and AI-powered quality engineering.
This role is a strong fit for someone who has deep experience in QA automation and is now actively moving into AI-driven testing and intelligent systems.

You're not just executing tests, you're building systems that think, adapt, and test autonomously.
This role goes beyond traditional QA. You will lead the evolution of testing infrastructure, building robust automation frameworks while introducing AI-driven testing capabilities and autonomous agents that actively participate in the development lifecycle.

You'll own quality engineering end-to-end — from automation strategy and CI/CD integration to designing intelligent systems that generate, execute, and optimize tests automatically.

This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on engineering efficiency, release quality, and long-term QA strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Frameworks

• Design, build, and scale automated test frameworks across web, mobile, API, and backend systems
• Replace manual regression testing with reliable, maintainable automation
• Ensure high test coverage, stability, and performance across environments

CI/CD & Quality Engineering

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates before deployment
• Improve release confidence by reducing flaky tests and increasing execution speed
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle

AI-Driven Testing & Innovation

• Develop AI-assisted test generation and intelligent coverage analysis systems
• Design and implement autonomous testing agents that:
  • Monitor pull requests
  • Generate and execute tests
  • Validate changes and report failures
• Explore next-generation QA approaches using LLMs and AI tooling

System Reliability & Scalability

• Continuously improve test reliability, execution speed, and scalability
• Ensure robust validation of distributed systems, particularly in AWS environments

Leadership & Strategy

• Define QA automation strategy and best practices across teams
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of modern testing approaches
• Act as a bridge between QA, DevOps, and backend/frontend teams

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Appium, Cypress, Selenium, or Katalon
• Proven experience testing mobile applications and mobile web
• Solid background in API testing and CI/CD integration
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Experience testing AWS-based distributed systems
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, frameworks, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLM APIs, AI agent frameworks, or AI-driven developer tools
• Familiarity with self-healing tests or AI-based test generation systems
• Exposure to building or integrating intelligent automation systems
