We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team and help us scale ambitious products at the intersection of AI and content.

What You Will Work On

  • Build and deploy advanced AI models with a focus on NLP and large language models (LLMs)
  • Develop and fine-tune systems leveraging PyTorch, Hugging Face, and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver cutting-edge AI features.
  • Work on generative and NSFW content, including VLLM and diffusion-based models.
  • Scale and optimize model performance across distributed cloud environments.
  • Operate in a fast-paced startup context with high ownership and quick iteration.

What Were Looking For

  • 2+ years in an industry AI/ML role (excluding postdoc work).

  • Prior experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Engineer.
  • Alternatively: 3-5 years as a Software Engineer with 2+ years in data or AI-related work.
  • Proven record in NLP, LLMs, or deep learning research and production.
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (required).

  • PhD preferred, ideally with a machine learning focus.

  • Strong command of Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face (experience with Unsloth a plus).

  • Familiarity with VLLM and Stable Diffusion.

  • Cloud experience on GCP preferred (AWS or Azure acceptable).

  • Fluent written and spoken English.

  • Comfortable working with uncensored / NSFW data and content.


Nice to Have

  • Prior experience deploying AI models in production at scale.

  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or published ML research.

  • Interest in generative AI, multimodal systems, or content personalization.

  • Early-stage startup experience or comfort with high ambiguity.

  • Reluctance to engage with NSFW or unrestricted data.
