Senior React Native/Expo Engineer (EU)

We're hiring a dedicated mobile engineer to own the entire mobile application at a B2B SaaS startup. The product is already live on iOS and Android — you'll focus on keeping it fast, reliable, and in lockstep with the web platform while shipping new features from idea to release.

This is a high-ownership role: you'll be the go-to person for everything mobile, making architecture and technical decisions independently on a small, autonomous team.

What You'll Do

• Own the entire React Native (Expo) application — architecture, maintenance, and new feature development from idea to release
• Keep the mobile apps at feature parity with the web platform
• Own performance, stability, and overall app quality, including App Store & Google Play releases
• Handle native integrations and third-party SDKs (APIs, authentication, push notifications, analytics)
• Tackle bug fixing, refactoring, and technical debt proactively — not just when it breaks
• Work closely with product, design, and backend teams in a chill but high-output environment

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• Strong React Native experience — Expo is required
• Deep understanding of React, TypeScript, and mobile app architecture
• Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS & Android apps
• Experience integrating APIs, authentication, push notifications, and analytics
• Senior level of autonomy: comfortable owning technical decisions independently, no hand-holding needed
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and user experience
• Based within roughly ±4 hours of [Central European Time], with good availability and responsive communication during overlapping hours

Nice to have:

• Experience with native modules beyond Expo's managed workflow
• Experience at a startup or fast-moving product company
• Strong product/UX sensibility
