About the job Senior Data Scientist (EU)

Were looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Senior Data Scientist who can transform raw data into actionable insights, predictive models, and strategic dashboards that empower Product, Marketing, and Operations. You'll own projects end to end from data ingestion and feature engineering to experimentation and model deployment.

This role focuses on building and scaling next-generation ad monetization and optimization models. Youll set the technical vision for data science initiatives, mentor ML engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive measurable business impact through ranking, bidding, fraud detection, and user-value prediction models. Strong MLOps practices monitoring, retraining, and experimentation will be key to maintaining model performance in production.

This position reports directly to executive leadership and offers a clear growth path toward Data Director, including ownership of roadmap, hiring, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Looker (or similar) connected to BigQuery/SQL.

  • Automate recurring reports and ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Predictive Modeling & Algorithms

  • Develop models for ROI, LTV, churn prediction, and other key business metrics.

  • Apply clustering, anomaly detection, and advanced analytics to identify segments, fraud patterns, and optimization opportunities.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze publisher- and user-level data to identify trends, behavior patterns, and growth drivers.

  • Lead anti-fraud investigations and produce actionable reports with quantified risk assessments.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support campaign optimization and strategic decision-making.

Data Engineering & Automation

  • Build and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts in BigQuery or similar environments.

  • Optimize query performance, partitioning, and cost efficiency.

Operational Support

  • Deliver acquisition, retention, and revenue funnel reports via structured SQL/Excel workflows.

  • Create macros and templates for efficient recurring analyses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Data Engineering with strong hands-on skills in BigQuery, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Looker).

  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.

  • Solid foundation in predictive modeling, clustering, and statistical analysis.

  • Experience with anti-fraud systems or high-integrity data environments is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data pipeline optimization and cost management best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex findings for non-technical audiences.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
