Senior Back End Engineer (Django)

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and optimize the infrastructure necessary to scale our revenue and customer base by 100-200%. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs, managing integrations, and ensuring high-quality code that meets performance and security standards.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about backend development, and enjoys working with a highly collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs for our platform with minimal assistance.
• Implement and manage 6+ integrations while owning updates for all existing integrations.
• Conduct all backend code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
• Ensure that 90%+ of backend tickets meet acceptance criteria post-deployment.
• Set up monitoring dashboards to proactively detect and troubleshoot integration issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Django.
• 1+ years of experience using Docker.
• 2+ years of experience developing REST APIs.
• 5+ years working with Git / GitHub.
• 2+ years working with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• 2+ years experience managing requirements in Confluence/Notion.
• 3+ years of experience working in collaborative software development teams.
• 2+ years working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• 1+ years experience with Kibana, Grafana, PowerBI, or similar monitoring tools.
• 1+ years experience working with a product used by 1000+ users/companies.
