QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to focus on developing and maintaining our UI automation suite. This is a full-time automation role with no manual testing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and excels in communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a scalable UI automation framework (preferably from scratch).
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to align on testing needs and resolve issues like missing element IDs.
• Research, prioritize, and implement test cases and assertions.
• Investigate and fix flaky tests and improve framework reliability.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (preferred).

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of QA automation experience, with proficiency in Cypress (JavaScript).
• Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) (mandatory).
• Ability to handle flaky tests, timing issues, and pop-ups using robust solutions.
• Familiarity with logging tools like Mocha (or similar).
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch.
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience.
