Idelsoft is seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Manual QA Engineer to join our team. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge technology solutions. This position requires 2-3 years of QA experience, along with an outstanding level of verbal and written English. You will be working with multiple development teams on different areas of healthcare application, including but not limited to internal admin panel, external user applications, and integrations.

The QA Engineer role plays an important part in our companys product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with UI and API testing tools.
  • Experience with technologies such as Stripe, Shopify, Zendesk, Extensiv, and AWS Amplify is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and articulate findings.
  • Ability to multi-task, triage issues, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, and technical skills to be able to address complex issues.
  • Ability to review defects on a regular basis and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Basic understanding of QA Automation tools and programming languages.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, etc.
  • Strong understanding of app accessibility.
  • Experience with SQL and other query languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive manual, regression, and other test scenarios across various platforms.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality assurance standards and processes.
  • Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to the development team.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and optimize overall system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging software testing trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Verify that functionality meets software requirements.
  • Implement QA best practices acquired through prior experience for QA process improvement
  • Conduct demos, participate in technical reviews and deliver testing excellence.
  • Serve as the initial client support resource (as needed).
