Job Openings Product Analytics Manager (EU)

About the job Product Analytics Manager (EU)

We're hiring Product Analystics Manager (not a Product Manager) who owns the company's understanding of product usage and user behavior at a B2B SaaS startup. The product is live with real customers — your job is to figure out what's helping or hurting their success, uncover opportunities, and turn data into better product decisions.

This is a high-ownership role: you'll partner directly with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success, and your insights will shape what gets built.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor key product metrics across the entire customer journey — from first visit to long-term customer
  • Analyze funnels, feature adoption, user journeys, retention, cohorts, and behavioral trends in Amplitude (or similar), and investigate unexpected metric changes down to root cause
  • Discover which user behaviors correlate with long-term success, and identify opportunities to improve activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and expansion
  • Design experiments, define success metrics up front, and measure the impact of product changes and feature releases
  • Build dashboards that make product performance easy to understand across the company
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations — not just reports — and partner with teams to prioritize improvements backed by evidence

What We're Looking For

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog, or similar
  • Strong analytical thinking with a natural tendency to investigate why metrics change
  • Deep understanding of funnels, user journeys, cohorts, retention, segmentation, feature adoption, and behavioral analytics
  • Experience designing and evaluating product experiments
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable product recommendations, with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong product intuition — you understand how user behavior drives engagement, retention, and business outcomes
  • Curious, proactive mindset; comfortable exploring product data with modern analytics tools and AI-assisted analysis

Nice to have:

  • Experience with self-serve SaaS products
  • Experience designing or analyzing A/B tests
  • Basic understanding of event instrumentation and analytics implementation, and familiarity with AI tools for data exploration
