About the job Senior Product Manager (US)
We're hiring Senior Product Manager an AI-native platform rebuilding the financial back office for logistics startup. The financial core is the highest-trust part of the product, and it's yours to own. This is a foundational hire for the area where 99% right isn't enough.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with deep ownership — a true product owner who makes the calls and ships, not a people manager or project manager. The features are mapped; the decisions and execution are yours.
What you'll own
The money side, end to end: invoicing and payments, settlements and payroll, reconciliation, and the financial reporting our customers run their business on — including how it integrates with the accounting systems they already use. Plus the roadmap, the trade-offs, and the accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance rules that govern moving money.
You're a fit if you:
- Are effectively a subject-matter expert on invoicing and payroll — fluent in the terminology and best practices, not someone who needs to look them up (deep strength in one, with working command of the other, can work)
- Think in ledgers — double-entry, GL reconciliation, audit trails — and catch the edge case everyone else missed
- Have a track record in low-error-tolerance fintech with a real accounting/finance core (not generic payments)
- Are a skilled PM who's built in the trenches at a startup, comfortable creating structure in ambiguity rather than inheriting it
- Bring a strong sense of ownership — go end-to-end without being managed
A strong plus: CPA or heavy finance background (we'll weigh this against years of PM experience) · hands-on with QuickBooks / ERP / GL / payment rails · 01 product experience
Probably not a fit: spent your career only at large enterprises (e.g. Fortune 100) with little exposure to startup ambiguity.
No domain background? We'll teach you — we hire for product judgment in areas where the details are unforgiving.
Comp & benefits: base salary + equity + 401(k), health, and 3 weeks PTO. Equal opportunity employer.
