    Billable Hours: 1800 hours/year

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage in pre-trial preparation, including depositions, witness interviews, and negotiations.
    • Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing motions.
    • Collaborate with medical experts, clients, and other legal professionals to build strong defense cases.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to medical malpractice.


    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
    • 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice defense
    • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
    • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.


    Work Environment:

    • Primarily in-office work environment to facilitate collaboration and mentorship.
    • Standard work hours: approximately 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility.
