We're looking for an experienced Generative AI Specialist to lead the development of innovative AI solutions from initial idea to implementation.

As part of our innovation team, you'll lead AI and GenAI initiatives, define project structures and technical direction, work with complex and large-scale data, and collaborate with engineering teams, domain experts, and stakeholders to transform promising concepts into scalable solutions.

What you'll do

• Build AI and GenAI development projects from concept and PoC through implementation;
• Define project scope, objectives, technical approach, milestones, and success criteria;;
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), development plans, effort estimates, and project roadmaps;
• Coordinate development activities, dependencies, risks, priorities, and technical deliverables;
• Hold technical ownership while remaining hands-on in the development of AI solutions;
• Build and improve solutions using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt engineering;
• Work with Big Data, complex data sources, and large-scale datasets;
• Integrate AI solutions with existing applications, APIs, services, and data platforms;
• Evaluate technologies and improve or extend existing AI models, tools, and solutions;
• Define evaluation methods and validate technical performance and business value;
• Work within the innovation team to identify, evaluate, and develop new AI use cases, prototypes, PoCs, and Proofs of Value;
• Collaborate with business, engineering, customers, and other teams while promoting knowledge sharing and AI adoption;
• Stay current with GenAI and emerging AI technologies and help establish reusable components, methodologies, and best practices.

What we're looking for

Required

• Proven experience building AI, data, or software development projects;
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and applied AI solutions;
• Experience defining project scope and creating WBS structures, technical plans, and roadmaps;
• Experience working with Big Data and large-scale datasets;
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, APIs, and AI agents;
• Experience integrating AI solutions into existing systems and applications;
• Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on development;
• Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in an experimental and innovation-driven environment;
• Open to occasional business travel when needed.

Nice to have

• Python skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks;
• Experience with GitHub Copilot;
• Experience with Azure AI services or other cloud AI platforms;
• Experience with agentic or multi-agent AI solutions;
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, monitoring, governance, and Responsible AI;
• Experience moving AI PoCs toward production;
• Experience working directly with customers or engineering domain experts.
