Are you a talented Packaging Designer with a knack for creating compelling and functional designs? Join our client, a leading player in the consumer products industry, in a dynamic temporary role where youll contribute to innovative packaging solutions.

Role Summary:

As a Packaging Designer, you will work closely with the Packaging Design Manager and cross-functional teams to design packaging that is cost-effective, visually appealing, functional, and safe. This role involves the conceptualization, design, and execution of packaging materials and prototypes for a range of consumer products. You will assist in creating on-brand packaging that resonates with target markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support the Packaging Design Manager in the design process, including brainstorming, development, and production.

- Modify packaging designs based on feedback to meet aesthetic, functional, and cost objectives.

- Prepare final files for production, including Pantone matching and proofing.

- Communicate with the Asia packaging team as needed during development stages.

- Create final mock-up designs using appropriate software.

- Prepare files for trade show mock-ups.

- Ensure all final deliverables are error-free by following workflow and sign-off protocols.

- Review print proofs and samples before production.

- Perform additional packaging design support duties as required.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in package design.

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Industrial Design, or a related field.

- Experience in the toy, baby, costume, or pet industry.

- Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for innovation and creativity.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

- Working knowledge of printing processes, including color management, mechanical preparation, and file formats.

- Ability to make strategic decisions, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

- Effective communication skills, both visual and verbal.

- Experience working with style guides, mock-ups, and licensed brands.

- Multilingual skills are a plus.


  • This is a temporary opportunity in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area.
  • Hybrid schedule, 4 days in the office, Monday to Thursday. (Option to WFH on Friday). Remote is not an option for this position.
  • Pay rate: $30/hr - $36/hr, DOE
