Project Coordinator | Full-Time | On-Site

Salary: 50k - 60k

Location: Portland, OR

About The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to help bring retail design projects and brand experiences to life — from initial planning through final installation.

This is a great role for someone early in their project management career who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You'll support Project Managers and work directly with designers, vendors, clients, and installers to keep projects running smoothly, on time, and on budget.

What You'll Do

Project Support

Assist Project Managers with scheduling, task tracking, and maintaining project documentation

Help organize meetings, prepare status reports, and track milestones

Communication + Coordination

Coordinate communication between clients, internal design teams, vendors, and installers

Ensure everyone has the information and resources needed to move work forward

Budget + Vendor Management

Support budget tracking by maintaining expense records and gathering vendor quotes

Assist with sourcing vendors, providing project briefs, and tracking deliverables

Design + Production Collaboration

Partner with the design team to help maintain brand and design consistency during execution

Learn fabrication, production, and installation processes by working alongside the team

On-Site + Events

Provide logistical support during installations and events

Help ensure teams have what they need on site for a smooth rollout

Growth

Participate in project debriefs and apply feedback to strengthen your project management skills

What You Bring

1–2 years of experience in project coordination, events, design, marketing, or a related field. Internships and academic projects welcome

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable with project management tools like Asana, MS Project, or similar, plus Microsoft Office/Google Suite

Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn

Genuine interest in design, fabrication, and how things get made

Work Environment

This is an on-site, fast-paced role with shifting priorities. You'll be working closely with both creative and production teams. Occasional support during installations or events outside standard hours may be required.
