We are hiring a Construction Worker on behalf of a respected employer based in Europe. The ideal candidates should be physically strong, detail-oriented, and capable of performing manual labor on construction sites, highways, and demolition projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Control traffic movement near or around work zones.
  • Dig trenches, ditches, and foundations, and backfill or compact soil using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, ramps, traffic barricades, or other temporary structures.
  • Load and unload building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them according to project specifications.
  • Measure, mark, or record distances and openings to lay out construction areas.
  • Position, join, align, or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes.
  • Assist in positioning and dismantling formwork for pouring concrete using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and instructions to determine work activities.
  • Signal equipment operators to assist with machinery alignment, movement, or adjustments.
  • Remove hazardous waste materials such as asbestos or lead from construction sites following safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in construction, excavation, or demolition work is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand and follow construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong physical endurance to handle manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to adjust actions in relation to team dynamics and respond effectively to worksite challenges.
  • Basic English proficiency is an advantage for communicating with the team.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, one year contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting, standing, bending, and exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Primary work locations include construction sites, roads, tunnels, and demolition projects.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: 600 - 800 EUR per month (depending on experience).
  • Accommodation provided.
  • Daily meals included.
  • Transportation provided (at least one-way).
  • Work permit assistance available.
