We are hiring a Buffet Attendant / Food Runner on behalf of a respected employer based in Montenegro and Croatia. The ideal candidates should be service-oriented, professional, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow food safety and handling procedures in compliance with hotel standards and local laws.
  • Adhere to hotel safety and security policies, ensuring guest and staff well-being.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in buffet and dining areas.
  • Engage with guests to provide superior personalized service.
  • Assist in food preparation and serving, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Serve as a cashier, processing transactions accurately if required.
  • Pour and serve alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Tap kegs, restock beverages, and maintain bar and drink stations.
  • Ensure all guests consuming alcoholic beverages meet age requirements.
  • Assist in setting up and replenishing buffet stations, ensuring timely and fresh food supply.
  • Support the cleaning and organization of food service areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid food handling license/permit and maintain certification as required.
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or catering is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a cash register for payment transactions.
  • Must have flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and carrying moderate weights.
  • Basic understanding of alcohol serving regulations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, seasonal contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Primary work locations include hotels, restaurants, and catering facilities.
  • One day off per week.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: 600 - 750  EUR per month (depending on experience).
  • Accommodation provided.
  • Daily meals included.
  • Transportation provided (at least one-way).
  • Work permit assistance available.
