A CALIFORNIA BASED COMPANY IS SEEKING highly experienced Senior Interior Designer / Space Planner to join our team as a virtual team member based in the Philippines. This role is critical in supporting our U.S.-based sales and furniture teams by delivering high-quality space planning, design development, and client-ready presentations.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in commercial interiors, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities Develop space plans, test fits, and furniture layouts using AutoCAD and related design tools Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and presentation materials for client proposals Collaborate closely with U.S.-based sales representatives and project teams Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met Assist with bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation Maintain organized and accurate project files and design records Provide design recommendations that align with client needs, budgets, and timelines Support continuous improvement of design processes, standards, and efficiency Participate in virtual team meetings and communicate proactively across time zonesQualifications Minimum 4+ years of experience in commercial interior design or contract furniture industry Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and space planning software (e.g., CET, Worksheet, or similar) Strong understanding of commercial furniture systems, specifications, and layouts Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience supporting U.S.-based commercial interiors or furniture dealerships Familiarity with manufacturers, specifications, and typical bid processes Experience with rendering tools or presentation software (SketchUp, CAP, CET, etc.) Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based clients and internal teams Strong verbal communication skills suitable for client-facing interactions, including virtual meetings and presentationsWorking Structure Full-time, remote (Philippines-based) Must be available to overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (California) business hours as needed Reports directly to the Vice President of Furniture Must be available to work during U.S. Pacific Time (PST) business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST), with consistent daily overlap Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote work environment are requiredCompensation Competitive monthly compensation (based on experience and qualifications) Long-term, stable engagement with growth potentialHow to Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio, and relevant project samples.
