About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Designer for a client in the marketing industry to develop and execute visual solutions across brand identity, campaigns, packaging, retail, events and digital content.

This role is suited to a versatile designer who can think conceptually while maintaining a high standard of execution. You will work closely with strategy, marketing and project teams to translate approved briefs into clear, compelling and commercially relevant creative work across both physical and digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Concept Development

  • Interpret approved briefs and develop relevant visual concepts and design directions.
  • Create mood boards, concept boards, key visuals, mock-ups and presentation materials.
  • Develop brand identity elements, visual systems and practical brand applications.
  • Support the development of integrated creative ideas across campaigns, product concepts, retail and digital channels.

Design Execution

  • Design packaging concepts, POSM, retail displays, event materials, campaign assets and digital or social-media content.
  • Structure visual storytelling and proposal decks so ideas are clear, persuasive and presentation-ready.
  • Support content development by proposing visual formats, content treatments and asset requirements.
  • Maintain consistency across brand, campaign and customer-experience touchpoints.

Production & Artwork

  • Prepare accurate production artwork and working files for approved suppliers and production partners.
  • Review proofs, samples and final production outputs against approved concepts and brand requirements.
  • Ensure artwork is technically accurate and suitable for supplier execution.
  • Flag material feasibility, production, copyright or licensing concerns before final release.

Creative Coordination

  • Work with internal strategy, marketing and project teams to translate research and strategic inputs into visual solutions.
  • Coordinate approved external specialists such as photographers, illustrators, copywriters, motion designers, video editors and 3D visualisers where required.
  • Liaise with printers, fabricators, event partners and other production vendors on technical requirements and artwork handover.

Creative Systems & Asset Management

  • Maintain organised creative files, templates, brand assets, references and approved artwork.
  • Contribute to the development of proposal-design templates, quality checklists and internal creative standards.
  • Build and maintain reference libraries across branding, packaging, retail, events and digital content.
  • Use approved AI-assisted creative tools responsibly while maintaining originality, accuracy, confidentiality and production quality.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Advertising or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant multidisciplinary design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating work across areas such as branding, packaging, campaigns, retail, POSM, events or digital content.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, or equivalent professional design tools.
  • Strong presentation-design skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Working knowledge of print production, artwork preparation, colour, materials, dimensions and supplier handover requirements.
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, 3D visualisation or AI-assisted creative tools would be advantageous.
  • Ability to explain design decisions clearly and respond constructively to feedback.

Key Skills

  • Strong conceptual thinking and visual problem-solving.
  • Good typography, layout, composition and brand consistency.
  • Ability to work across physical and digital channels.
  • Strong attention to production detail and technical accuracy.
  • Creative curiosity and awareness of design, consumer and cultural trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Comfortable receiving direction, critique and collaborative input.
  • Able to work effectively in a growing creative environment where processes continue to develop.
