JOB SUMMARY

The client is seeking a dynamic experienced Solution Sales Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management, along with deep knowledge of Logistics and Transportation Management Systems. 

This role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing customised
solutions, managing the full sales cycle, and building strong customer relationships to drive business growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding Customer Needs Identify and analyse customer requirements and challenges within their transportation and logistics operations to tailor effective solutions.
  • Solution Sales - Present customised TMS solutions that align with specific customer business goals and operational needs.
  • Building Relationships - Establish, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both potential and existing customers to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Sales Process Management - Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation, to successfully closing deals.
  • Product Knowledge - Maintain a deep understanding of the TMS software, including its features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Industry Knowledge - Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in transportation and logistics.
  • Reporting and Analysis - Track, report, and analyse sales performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and strategize accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with internal teams i.e. marketing, product development, customer support to ensure smooth sales processes, successful implementations, and high customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Preferably in Logistics related)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to address multiple levels of the internal and external organizations orally or in writing 
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Experience with executing software solution selling methodologies
  • B2B sales & Channel Management experience, preferably in a software-oriented business
  • Ability to think strategically and divergently while acting independently to successfully manage achievement of short-term goals
  • Comfortable to conduct 12-day pre-sales meetings / workshop to potential users.
