About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth payroll operations for a global workforce. From processing salaries to collaborating with finance teams and auditors, your work will drive efficiency and innovation in HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll, including overtime, claims, incentives, and allowances.
- Ensure error-free salary computations and postings in the SAP system.
- Prepare comprehensive reports: Payroll Cost, Overtime, Man-hours, and more.
- Handle compliance tasks like CPF submissions, IR8A/IR21, and tax matters.
- Liaise with finance teams, auditors, and tax agents to maintain alignment.
- Manage government-related claims (e.g., maternity, child care, NS reservist).
- Support HR systems updates and provide payroll-related data for reporting.
- Drive process improvements in payroll operations and employee inquiries.
What Were Looking For:
- A Bachelors degree in any discipline (HR Management is a bonus!).
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience with strong HR systems knowledge.
- Familiarity with manpower regulations (Employment Act, CPF Act, tax laws).
- SAP experience is a big plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exceptional attention to detail.
