General Description
The Security Engineer, with extensive experience in IT Security Engineering, will join the Security Infrastructure Solutions Team. The primary responsibility will involve handling L2 and L3 tickets, focusing on Zscaler-related tasks alongside other security solutions.
Responsibilities
Client Management:
The role demands a highly customer-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate technical context clearly. The engineer will support internal customers by advising, setting up, and executing virtual events effectively.
Business Management:
The engineer will oversee the development and operation of ZIA and other IT security services. This includes:
- Proposing strategies to enhance platform performance and stability.
- Designing, implementing, and supporting automation strategies for team processes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and introduce new features.
- Troubleshooting user issues, analyzing incidents, and resolving bugs.
- Maintaining system documentation, including security configurations and architecture descriptions.
- Evaluating and procuring security systems while adhering to best practices.
Skills Requirements
Personal and Social Skills:
Candidates should have at least five years of technical, customer-focused experience. They must demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and the capacity to interact with business users in financial institutions.
Professional and Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash/Shell, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with GIT, REST, Regular Expressions, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
