Our client is an investment advisory and asset management firm based in Bangkok.
They specialise in offering tailored financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and institutional investors across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Specialist to join their growing team. This role is critical in expanding their client base, nurturing long-term relationships, and increasing their assets under management (AUM).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial services sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build trust with sophisticated investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Conduct needs-based assessments to understand client objectives, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
- Present company's investment products and bespoke financial solutions with clarity and professionalism.
- Work closely with internal investment, compliance, and operations teams to develop customized proposals.
- Develop and execute a structured outreach plan using a mix of networking, referrals, events, and digital tools.
- Maintain CRM records, prepare sales reports, and analyse client feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to inform sales strategy.
- Support the leadership team with strategic projects related to client acquisition and retention.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in the financial services or investment advisory space.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets and closing high-value accounts.
- Strong understanding of investment products (e.g., mutual funds, private equity, wealth management solutions).
- Familiarity with Thailand's financial regulatory environment (SEC, AMLO, BOT regulations).
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and presentation abilities.
- High ethical standards and client-first mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with HNWIs or family office clients.
- Existing client network or relationships within the financial or corporate sector.
- Certifications such as IC License, CFP, or CFA (Level 1 or higher) are a plus.
