About the job Investor Relations & ESG Officer
Our client is a fast-growing seed-stage venture capital firm located in Ho Chi Minh City. The companies they invest in are across all areas of high technology and will change the way we work, play, and live. They are a tight-knit, caring, and supportive team of investors.
The firm is hiring an Investor Relations & ESG Officer. This person will support the firm in efforts that cover fundraising, investor relations, ESG, and social impact management & measurement. This is a mission-critical role: the more capital the firm can raise, the more it can support promising entrepreneurs in realizing their visions; the more mindful we are about ESG & impact, the greater the benefit to society our activities will bring.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing materials. Prepare pitchbooks, presentations, and other materials for prospective investors.
- Lead generation. Identify and qualify prospective investors (e.g. high net worth individuals, family offices, funds of funds, endowments).
- Conversion. Work with potential investors through their diligence, subscription, and onboarding process.
- Relationship management. Help develop and maintain relationships with investors through online & offline communications.
- Reports. Communicate fund performance and other relevant information for/to investors, such as quarterly investor letters, annual reports, etc.
- ESG and impact management system. Help develop and implement the firms policies and procedures. Monitor, measure, and report the firms performance on ESG and impact. Work with the firms partners to continuously improve our efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of full-time work experience. Prior experience in investor relations and/or ESG management will be an advantage. Prior experience with venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or advisory will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and ability to analyze fund performance
- Proficient in G Suite tools as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent deck design and data visualization skills
- Action-oriented and able to independently handle multiple, competing tasks, with a strong delivery focus. Proactive and able to independently move initiatives forward.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to communicate confidently, clearly, and succinctly, coordinate multiple parties, and manage competing interests.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, often chaotic environment.
- Passionate about early-stage tech and venture capital.
