Accounting Manager (Momoko)

About the client

Our client is Thailand's leading premium bag and shoe spa, offering specialised cleaning, restoration, and maintenance services for luxury fashion items. With continued growth across Thailand and the region, they are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting Manager to join their finance team in Bangkok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and tax filings.
• Maintain compliance with Thai accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors.
• Collaborate with the parent company's Accounting Director to ensure alignment with group-level financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and operational procedures.
• Manage and develop a small accounting team, promoting a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support IPO readiness initiatives and public company reporting standards, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license is preferred. CPD license optional
• 4-6 years of accounting experience, ideally in the service, retail, or advisory industry.
• Exposure to IPO processes or public company reporting is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of Thai GAAP and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting systems and presentations.
• High attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
