Our client is a fast growing boutique brand & experience consulting company and work with clients across healthcare, real estate, and lifestyle sectors to reimagine how brands live across physical and digital environments.

They are lean, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial. What they're building isn't traditional and neither is this role.

The Role

They are seeking a Brand Strategist who blends rigor with imagination someone confident in frameworks but unafraid to break them. You'll lead the thinking behind branding, customer experience development, and place-making strategies across high-impact projects in Malaysia, such as hospital group rebrands and real estate experiential development.

This is an ideal role for someone mid-level who wants more ownership, more growth, and the rare opportunity to shape a business from the inside.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate client's needs into clear brand, CX, and placemaking strategies
  • Conduct competitive audits, market research, stakeholder interviews, and personal development
  • Develop positioning, messaging, brand architecture and rollout plans
  • Work closely with visual designers to bring strategies to life through compelling narratives and creative briefs
  • Support execution planning brand guidelines, activation roadmaps, etc.
  • Collaborate with project managers to keep deliverables on track
  • Present strategic thinking to clients and internal teams confidently and clearly
  • Contribute to internal methodology development, toolkits, and IP
  • Mentor interns and potentially grow into a team leadership role

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Have 36 years experience in brand strategy, preferably in a creative or consulting agency
  • Have working knowledge of CX design market/consumer insights creative direction, and
  • content strategy
  • Think in systems, not silos you understand how brand intersects with business and experience
  • Are entrepreneurial excited to help build a consulting team and brand from scratch
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and can move from concept to execution
  • Have excellent writing, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Are grounded in research but never lose sight of impact
  • Are Malaysia-based (willing to be present on-ground for client engagements)
  • Are looking for a career-defining role, not just a stepping stone
