Role Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This pivotal role will be instrumental in steering their financial strategy, particularly as they navigate the process of an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Based in Thailand, the CFO will play a key role in shaping their financial direction and driving value creation initiatives as they prepare for this significant milestone.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, aligned with its long-term growth objectives and the requirements of an IPO.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to provide insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing transparent, accurate, and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Drive the IPO process from a financial perspective, collaborating closely with legal, regulatory, and external advisory teams to ensure a seamless and successful listing.
  • Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and promote financial integrity.
  • Provide strategic guidance on capital allocation, investment opportunities, and M&A activities, evaluating potential risks and returns to support informed investment decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders, serving as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and disclosures.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in strategic finance leadership roles, preferably within a publicly listed company (PLC) or with significant exposure to IPO processes.
  • Proven track record of leading successful IPO listings or significant capital market transactions, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Hands-on approach to work, with a willingness to dive into details while maintaining a strategic focus on the company's overall objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term value creation, coupled with the agility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
