Our client is a leading asset management company in Thailand
Role purpose:
You will design, build and manage the technology stack, data platforms, analytics, digital tools, and operational systems necessary to support the full lifecycle of distressed asset acquisition, asset management, disposal, and monitoring.
This role bridges domain expertise in real-estate/asset management operations with technology innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the overall technology strategy aligned with business strategy: supporting NPL/NPA management, asset lifecycle, sales/disposition, portfolio monitoring and analytics.
- Architect, implement and maintain core systems: asset management systems, CRM/sales pipeline systems, legal/litigation tracking, valuation/analytics platforms, data warehouse, dashboards and reporting.
- Lead and manage the technology team: software engineers, data analysts, business-analysts, infrastructure, IT operations. Build capability, set standards, processes and best practices.
- Drive digital innovation: automation of workflows (asset acquisition, foreclosure, listing, sale), advanced analytics (predictive modelling of assets, risk scoring, yield forecasting), data integration (legal, real estate, finance).
- Ensure scalable & secure architecture: cloud strategy, cybersecurity, data governance, regulatory compliance (GDPR/Thailand data regulations), continuity & resilience.
- Collaborate closely with business functions (legal, asset, sales, valuation, finance) to ensure systems meet functional needs, drive performance, improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Oversee vendor/partner relationships (software providers, data vendors, fintech/prop-tech alliances).
- Monitor technology trends (prop-tech, fintech, asset-tech) for potential adoption to strengthen competitive advantage.
- Set KPIs for technology: uptime, user adoption, cost efficiency, time-to-market for new features, data quality, analytics outcomes.
Candidate profile:
- 10-12 years of technology leadership experience (CTO, Head of Technology, VP Engineering) ideally in fintech, real-estate tech, asset management tech, or financial services.
- Strong experience designing/scaling enterprise systems, data platforms, analytics, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity.
- Prior exposure (preferable) to real-estate/asset management business or distressed asset portfolios ideally understands the workflows/legal/valuation context of such business.
- Proven leadership building technology teams, managing budgets, vendor management, agile delivery and digital transformation.
- Excellent understanding of business processes and ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmap and deliverables.
- Strong communication skills: able to liaise between business stakeholders and technology teams; able to present to senior leadership/board.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related; advanced qualification a plus.
