Our client is a well-known, dynamic F&B group with a portfolio of 8+ brands (including flagship premium Korean BBQ and trendy bubble-tea concepts), more than 1,000 employees overall, and around 40 outlets combining company-owned and franchise operations across Thailand. 

The group is poised for growth (expansion of outlets, international licensing/franchising, digital/omni-channel initiatives) and seeks a high-impact finance leader to help scale the business responsibly and strategically. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide strategic financial leadership to the Group: develop financial strategy, dashboards, forecasting, business modelling, P&L oversight across the brand portfolio. 
  • Oversee the full finance function: accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance (Thai GAAP / IFRS as applicable). 
  • Drive cost and margin improvement initiatives across owned outlets and franchise/business-partner models: pricing strategy, cost of sales, labour efficiency, overheads. 
  • Partner with Operations, Brand, and Franchise teams to evaluate new outlet openings, franchising/licensing opportunities, and capital expenditure proposals. 
  • Lead strategic planning: scenario modelling for growth (new brands, new markets, overseas), M&A or JV opportunities if applicable. 
  • Liaise with banks, investors, auditors, and external advisors; ensure proper corporate governance frameworks as the business scales. 
  • Build and strengthen finance team capability: mentor senior finance staff, implement improved systems and reporting processes, ensure scalable infrastructure. 
  • Manage month-end close, financial statements, board packs and present to leadership and stakeholders. 

Ideal Experience & Skills Experience: 

  • Minimum 10 years experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role preferably in the consumer, F&B, retail or hospitality sector 
  • Strong P&L ownership experience, you have been responsible for multi-site, multi-brand operations, not just a single entity. 
  • Hands-on experience with franchise / licensing business models, outlet roll-out / capex planning preferred. 
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, business modelling, strategic planning; comfortable building financial models to support growth decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in value-creation initiatives: cost optimisation, margin improvement, operational finance partnering. 
  • Prior experience working with external stakeholders (investors, banks, auditors) and ensuring governance/compliance. 
  • Excellent leadership skills; experience building or transforming a finance function to support multi-brand/multi-entity business. 
  • High integrity, strong communication skills (Thai and English) to interface with senior management and external stakeholders.
