Job Title: Senior Radio Frequency Engineer

As a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer, youll be responsible for designing and testing RF subsystems and ensuring seamless integration across advanced embedded platforms.

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a technically strong RF engineer with hands-on experience across circuit design, testing, and simulation. Youll work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize RF performance, lead testing initiatives, and support the development of secure communication hardware across wireless standards such as LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Key Responsibilities

RF Hardware Development

• Design RF circuits, systems, and subsystems that meet defined performance and regulatory specifications.
• Translate system-level requirements into detailed RF board designs, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Optimize RF designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Testing, Simulation & Troubleshooting

• Conduct S-parameters, gain, power, and noise figure measurements using tools like spectrum/network analyzers and signal generators.
• Utilize RF simulation tools (e.g., AWR, ADS, CST, HFSS) to model and refine system-level behavior.
• Develop test plans and procedures, and lead troubleshooting efforts for RF components and systems.

Integration & Support

• Work with hardware, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of RF designs into full product assemblies.
• Provide technical documentation and support during product development and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve performance or compliance issues and ensure product readiness.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in RF design, testing, and systems integration.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of RF principles including impedance matching, antennas, and transmission lines.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools (AWR, ADS, CST, HFSS).
• Proficiency in schematics capture, PCB layout (Altium, Mentor, etc.).
• Experience with up/down converters, high-power amplifier design, and RF shielding techniques.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

• Collaborative attitude and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
