Job Title: DSP/FPGA Waveform Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi

As part of a global advanced technology group, they operate within the Space & Cyber Technologies cluster, delivering reliable and secure solutions in an environment where cyber risks are ever-present.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and testing complex, high-speed FPGA designs that implement DSP and communication algorithms. You will contribute to top-level system simulations, translate system requirements into FPGA architectures, and document FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test complex, high-speed, real-time communication algorithms for FPGAs (primarily Xilinx) and/or embedded processors running an RTOS.
• Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures and/or embedded software architectures.
• Develop communication algorithms using RTL (VHDL, SystemVerilog) and/or Embedded C/C++.
• Collaborate with Systems Integration and Test Engineering teams to ensure functional design implementation.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of current and next-generation Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms.
• Develop test plans to ensure integrated system performance aligns with specifications.

FPGA Design, VHDL, SystemVerilog, C/C++ programming, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, UC OS III, FPGA based boards bring up, DSP boards bring up, CPU based boards bring up, Embedded Systems, Embedded SW Development, Zynq UltraScale+ MPSOC, CPU Architecture, Embedded SW Design and Debug, RTOS, JTAG, SW Tracing and Profiling on HW Boards.
