About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Video Editor & Social Media Manager to join our growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong video editing skills, social media management experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage content from editing to publishing while maintaining a consistent online presence. Experience in the legal industry is highly preferred, but candidates with strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form videos into engaging short-form content for social media platforms.
Utilize AI-powered editing tools to streamline the content creation process.
Create, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content across multiple platforms.
Transcribe videos and generate clips for promotional and educational content.
Ensure all content aligns with the firm's branding and marketing strategy.
Monitor post performance and engagement, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute content calendars.
Stay up to date with social media trends and video editing best practices.
Required Qualifications
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Proven experience in video editing and content creation.
Experience using AI tools as part of the video editing workflow.
Hands-on experience with:
HeyGen AI (video editing)
Descript (video clipping and transcription)
Strong experience managing business social media accounts.
Experience scheduling, publishing, and monitoring social media posts.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a law firm or legal professionals.
Familiarity with legal terminology and legal content.
Experience creating educational or professional social media content.

Monday – Friday
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Growth Opportunity: This role is part-time initially, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time position as the company continues to grow. The client currently operates two law firms and anticipates a significant increase in content production, offering long-term career growth for the right candidate.
Compensation
$10 - $11 per hour based on experience.
