Developer Relations Engineer/Lead (DevRel)

Our client is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain building a high-performance, parallel EVM-compatible network designed to accelerate the adoption of decentralised applications and tokenised real-world assets (RWA). The platform leverages advanced parallel execution and scalable infrastructure to deliver a seamless developer experience for the next generation of Web3 applications.

We are seeking a Developer Relations Engineer / Lead to grow, engage, and support the global developer ecosystem. You will serve as the bridge between engineering and the developer community by supporting developers, creating technical content, gathering product feedback, and driving developer adoption through advocacy and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Developer support: Assist developers in building on the network by troubleshooting technical issues, providing implementation guidance, and ensuring a smooth development experience.
• Developer education: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, developer handbooks, tutorials, FAQs, and learning materials ranging from beginner to advanced topics.
• Developer advocacy: Represent the project at conferences, hackathons, meetups, webinars, and technical workshops to increase developer adoption and ecosystem growth.
• Community engagement: Build, nurture, and grow relationships within the global developer community by organising events, supporting hackathons, and fostering meaningful engagement.
• Product feedback: Collect, synthesise, and communicate developer feedback to the engineering team to improve the platform, tooling, documentation, and overall developer experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product, Ecosystem, and Marketing teams to align developer initiatives, improve onboarding, and support ecosystem expansion.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Web3 development with a strong understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
• Proficiency in at least one EVM-compatible programming language (e.g. Solidity) and one WASM language (e.g. Rust or AssemblyScript).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to developers of varying experience levels.
• Demonstrated experience building, leading, or actively contributing to developer communities, either online or in person.
• Experience creating technical documentation, tutorials, developer guides, or other educational content.

Nice-to-Have

• Ability to communicate in multiple languages, such as Mandarin, Hindi, Vietnamese, or other Asian languages.
• Experience speaking at technical conferences, hackathons, workshops, or community events.
• Passion for blockchain technology, developer tooling, and the future of Web3.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed startup environment.
