Head of Investor Relations

Our client is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain developing scalable, high-performance infrastructure to drive the adoption of tokenised real-world assets (RWA). 

We are looking for a Head of Investor Relations to lead the Foundation's investor communications and capital markets strategy. You will lead the Foundation's engagement with institutional investors and key ecosystem stakeholders, building a trusted investor relations function that strengthens the network's long-term value and global market presence.

Responsibilities

• Build the IR function: Establish and execute the Foundation's investor relations strategy, including quarterly and annual reporting, investor updates, tokenomics disclosures, and a structured communications calendar.
• Institutional engagement: Manage relationships with institutional investors, crypto funds, family offices, market makers, and other strategic stakeholders. Organise regular 1:1 meetings, roadshows, and investor events.
• Disclosure: Lead communications on tokenomics, treasury operations, token unlock schedules, staking mechanisms, and on-chain metrics, ensuring transparency, consistency, and regulatory awareness.
• Capital markets strategy: Monitor token liquidity, exchange coverage, and derivatives markets, providing strategic insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Ecosystem & governance communications: Work closely with validators, staking providers, and governance participants while supporting communications around governance proposals and major ecosystem initiatives.
• Crisis & sentiment management: Develop investor sentiment monitoring and crisis communication strategies to maintain market confidence during periods of volatility.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Business Development, Ecosystem, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to align external messaging and support fundraising, exchange listings, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Crypto, including at least 2 years within a crypto-native organisation (Layer 1/Layer 2 protocol, blockchain foundation, crypto fund, or exchange).
• Strong understanding of the Layer 1 ecosystem, tokenomics (issuance, unlock schedules, staking, burn mechanisms), and on-chain analytics.
• Full professional fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to independently deliver presentations, reports, and written communications to a global investor audience.
• An established network across institutional investors, including crypto funds, market makers, custodians, and family offices.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate financial performance and on-chain metrics into a compelling investor narrative.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience spanning both traditional finance (Investor Relations, Investment Banking, or Buy-side Research) and the crypto industry.
• Experience supporting public company investor relations or token listing processes.
• Familiarity with token disclosure and compliance frameworks across the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the EU.
• Existing relationships with crypto media and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
