About the Role

We are seeking a PR Manager to elevate our brand presence and drive public relations activities and event presence. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will manage high-impact PR campaigns, secure media placements, and lead the management of our attendance at industry events, positioning Modular Dating as a leader in the dating, creator, and B2B sectors. This role will allow you to shape the companys public image, manage our corporate reputation, and execute dynamic events that build relationships and increase our visibility.

What You Will Do

1. Public Relations Strategy:

  • Develop and execute PR campaigns that drive brand visibility, media coverage, and industry recognition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets across the dating, creator, and tech industries.
  • Secure high-impact media placements in top-tier outlets (press, podcasts, blogs) and measure PR success through media coverage and sentiment analysis.

2. Thought Leadership & Brand Messaging:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to secure thought leadership opportunities for executives, enhancing brand credibility.
  • Write and edit bylined articles, guest blog posts, and media pitches to showcase Modular Datings industry expertise.
  • Position Modular Dating and its leadership as influential voices in the dating, creator, and B2B sectors.

3. Crisis Management & Reputation Management:

  • Manage crisis communications and protect Modular Dating's brand reputation through proactive and reactive PR efforts.
  • Develop and implement reputation management strategies to mitigate negative publicity and maintain a strong public image.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CMO, marketing, and creative teams to ensure that PR efforts align with overarching brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create press kits, event collateral, and promotional materials that align with brand guidelines.
  • Report on PR campaign results, media coverage, and event ROI, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in PR, media relations, and event management, with a proven ability to drive brand visibility and secure high-profile media coverage.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, platform businesses, or the dating/creator industries is preferred.
  • Expertise in media relations, event planning, crisis management, and reputation protection.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and articles.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to measure PR success and optimize future strategies.
  • Organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
