We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join their team and help drive the growth of their toy brands across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Position Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and promoting the company's portfolio of toy brands, including LEGO, to customers across Sub-Saharan Africa. This position requires a results-driven individual with strong sales skills, an in-depth understanding of the toy market, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers in diverse countries. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and managing key accounts to ensure continued sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Drive sales of the company's toy brands across Sub-Saharan Africa by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and closing deals with customers (wholesalers, retailers, and other partners).
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new markets and customers in Sub-Saharan Africa, expanding the company's presence and customer base across the region.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the company's toy offerings (including LEGO) to effectively present products, features, and benefits to potential customers.
  • Negotiations & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract details with clients to ensure profitable sales while maintaining good customer relations.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts, updating management on sales targets, pipeline status, and market conditions.
  • Customer Support: Assist clients with product inquiries, after-sales support, and troubleshooting, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Gather market intelligence to stay informed about competitors, industry trends, and customer preferences across Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Travel: Occasional travel within Sub-Saharan Africa to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the toy, retail, or distribution industries.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven ability to sell in Sub-Saharan Africa, with knowledge of the regional market, business culture, and customer behavior.
  • Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, from decision-makers to end customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of toy products (specifically LEGO and other key brands) and the ability to effectively communicate their value proposition.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a target-driven environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling toys or consumer goods in Sub-Saharan Africa.
