Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Assistant Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives that support business growth and brand positioning.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and offers direct exposure to senior leadership. You will play a key role in shaping marketing direction, managing campaigns, and supporting lead generation efforts while guiding a small marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Drive brand positioning, visibility, and consistency across all marketing channels
- Plan, manage, and optimise marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business growth and lead generation efforts
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies
- Lead and support junior team members, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables
- Manage marketing resources, timelines, and external vendors to ensure effective execution
- Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and brand engagement initiatives
- Analyse campaign performance and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
- 4–6 years of experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, or growth roles
- Experience leading or coordinating a small team is an advantage
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and campaign execution
- Experience in SME or fast-paced environments preferred
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, copywriting, and presentation skills (English)
- Strong project management and execution abilities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Remuneration:
- Up to RM8,000
