Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Assistant Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives that support business growth and brand positioning.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and offers direct exposure to senior leadership. You will play a key role in shaping marketing direction, managing campaigns, and supporting lead generation efforts while guiding a small marketing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Drive brand positioning, visibility, and consistency across all marketing channels
  • Plan, manage, and optimise marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business growth and lead generation efforts
  • Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies
  • Lead and support junior team members, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables
  • Manage marketing resources, timelines, and external vendors to ensure effective execution
  • Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and brand engagement initiatives
  • Analyse campaign performance and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, or growth roles
  • Experience leading or coordinating a small team is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and campaign execution
  • Experience in SME or fast-paced environments preferred
  • Proficiency in tools such as Canva, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, copywriting, and presentation skills (English)
  • Strong project management and execution abilities
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen

Remuneration:

  • Up to RM8,000
