We are hiring experienced Cost Analyst focuses on evaluating financial data to determine the actual costs of automotive business activities, manufacturing processes, and materials.

Location: Lembah Beringin, Selangor, Malaysia
Work Mode: Fully on-Site
Role: Cost Analyst
Remuneration: RM4,500 - RM6,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Evaluation: Track and evaluate costs related to labor, raw materials, manufacturing overhead, and logistics.
• Variance Analysis: Monitor actual operational expenditures against budgets to identify and fix cost deviations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports, financial forecasts, and cost-efficiency insights for management.
• Cost Control: Partner with procurement and engineering teams to identify cost-saving initiatives and reduction strategies.
• Month-End Operations: Support month-end financial closing activities, ensuring accurate and compliant ledger balances.
• Audit & Compliance: Assist internal and external audits by maintaining clean data trail integrity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably within the automotive manufacturing or heavy assembly industries.
• Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling) and data tools like Power BI.
• Solid understanding of standard costing, activity-based costing (ABC), and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred to facilitate communication with global teams and stakeholders
