Our Client is an internationally accredited, multi-disciplinary and tertiary care private hospital located in the Klang Valley Region. It was recognised in 2021 for its excellence as “imperatives” in the digital health industry. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking to hire a registered, dedicated, and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to be part of their team.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and carries out comprehensive nursing care with team members according to individual patient needs.
- Observes, monitors, reports and documents patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
- Enters updates of patient’s info into the system and extracts relevant information for clinical rounds.
- Ensures patient receive appropriate treatment as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Provides professional assistance, emotional support to patients, co-workers and customers.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and students.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Comply with safe practices in medication administration, medication storage and controlled substance regulations.
- Function as a member of code blue team. Carries out emergency resuscitation procedure both cardiac and respiratory prior to the arrival of the Code Blue Team
- Able to perform, record, interpret, analyze ECGs and notify doctors of any abnormalities.
- Assists in chest reopening and other complex invasive procedures within the unit.
- Able to interpret abnormal rhythm and initiate immediate resuscitation treatment in the absence of Medical Staff
- Assists in data collection for unit improvement activities.
- Ensures operation of instruments and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment and instruments inventories, evaluating new equipment and instruments.
Key Requirements:
- SRN registered with Malaysian Nursing Board
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing
- Post Basic Certificate in related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory position
- Takes role of Team leader, mentor and coach
- Computer Literate
- Competent in Nursing Care
- Good Interpersonal Care and communication skills
Remunerations & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: RM3,000 to RM4,000
- Those with direct industry experience with higher salary bracket will be considered
