About our client:
Our client is a Malaysian Convenience Store brand which focuses on the concept of bringing neighborhood grocery plus convenience idea to the consumer market, with around 100+ outlets nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall HR strategy in alignment with the company's business goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and people initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvements.
2. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Lead compensation and benefits strategy, including salary benchmarking and market competitiveness analysis.
- Review and enhance compensation structures, incentive schemes, and employee benefits to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulatory requirements.
3. Talent Management
- Drive end-to-end talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
- Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
- Strengthen employer branding and employee value proposition.
4. Learning & Development (L&D)
- Develop and implement learning and development frameworks to support leadership capability and employee growth.
- Identify skills gaps and design training programmes aligned with business needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
5. Policies & Governance
- Review, update, and maintain the company handbook and HR policies to ensure relevance, compliance, and best practices.
- Establish clear HR governance frameworks and ensure consistent policy application across the organisation.
6. Employee Relations
- Strengthen employee relations by fostering open communication, trust, and engagement.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, well-being, and organizational culture.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of compensation & benefits, talent management, L&D, and employee relations.
- Solid understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Working Location:
Subang Jaya, Selangor
Remuneration:
MYR 14,000 - MYR 18,000 (Open to further discussion depending on experience)
